PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent virus invasion to communication equipment without taking antivirus countermeasure. SOLUTION: A concentrator is provided with a first storage part 211 storing detection information of a virus, a second storage part 212 which temporarily accumulates received data, a virus detection part 213 comparing detection information of the virus stored in the storage part 211 with data which are temporarily accumulated in the storage part 212 and judging whether data are infected with the virus or not, a spread preventing part 214 preventing received data from being transmitted to outside the concentrator 1 when the virus detection part 213 judges that the data are infected with the virus and a third storage part 215 storing a MAC address of communication equipment connected to the concentrator. The spread preventing part 214 prevents communication equipment corresponding to an address of data transmission destination communication equipment from transmitting data when the address of data transmission destination communication equipment, which is added to data that are judged to be infected with the virus, is matched with the MAC address stored in the storage part 215.
