<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound-absorption thermal insulation hose reduced in weight and cost by reducing a resin sheet-like strip material without forming an intermediate sheet layer over the whole length, while maintaining thermal insulation efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: This sound-absorption thermal insulation hose is formed of an inner layer formed by spirally winding an air permeable tape, connecting both side edges thereof to each other and keeping shape with a hard spiral reinforcement, a sound absorbing foaming resin layer formed by winding a soft foaming resin tape having the continuous foam structure, while making both side edges abut on each other, and a thermal insulation foaming resin layer formed by spirally winding a soft foaming tape having the separate foam structure, while making both side edges abut on each other. Both side edges of the adjacent soft foaming resin tape having the separate foam structure are connected to each other for integration by thermal welding to a resin strip having a width narrower than the soft foaming resin tape spirally wound, riding over the inner peripheral surfaces between both the side edges. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
