<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having stable electrostatic properties, causing neither fogging nor defective transfer, and having excellent transfer efficiency, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same by association with an emulsion of a binder. <P>SOLUTION: The toner used in an image forming apparatus in which an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor is developed, transferred onto a recording medium and fixed comprises associated particles formed of: primary particles obtained from an emulsion of a binder resin; and an electrostatic charge control agent prepared by incorporating a colorant and a water-soluble electrostatic charge control material into inorganic fine particles. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
