<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable cure of ligament injury, osteoporosis and healing of wound, and to perform tissue engineering, medicine delivery, and prevention of tumor cell metastasis. <P>SOLUTION: A method executed is: preparing a ground substance/cell combination to repair injured musculoskeletal tissue of a patient. The ground substance/cell combination is to be transplanted to the position of injured musculoskeletal tissue. The method comprises a step to breed a musculoskeletal cell or a marrow interstitium stem cell taken from a patient on the ground substance. The step is executed by bringing the cell into contact with a medicine in sufficient concentration to obstruct or promote the in vitro generation of alpha smooth muscle actin (SMA) or biological activity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
