<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing system facilitating the formation of a catalog, pamphlet, comparative table or the like according to an independent need, and suitable for the reuse of an existing customized catalog. <P>SOLUTION: In this information processing system, when a commodity category and a priority condition or limit condition for it are inputted through a customer request input screen displayed based on customer request data (S501-S502), model information or image data matched to the customer request data are extracted. When insert data are designated, display information for displaying an insert data input screen is generated, and the insert data are composed with base data to generate insert printing data (S522-S526). When editing is ended, catalog data are stored (S527-S531).
