<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved continuous crystallization method which is applied to a method for continuously crystallizing adduct crystals or bisphenol A crystals, is reduced in the quantity of heat removed, and provides a prolonged continuous operation time because of the reduced deposition of solids on the inside surface of the crystallizer, especially, the heating surface of a cooler. <P>SOLUTION: In a method comprising feeding a raw crystallizable material containing bisphenol A into the crystallizer to form crystals of a bisphenol A/phenol adduct or crystals of bisphenol A and separating the solids from a slurry withdrawn from the crystallizer to recover the crystals, part of the mother liquor is recirculated to the crystallizer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
