摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system which prevents the enlargement of a synchronous motor by connecting the synchronous motor via a transformer provided on the output side of a power converter and boosting the supply voltage to the synchronous motor via this transformer and enables the synchronous motor to be controlled with an output voltage having high responsiveness by controlling the exciting current of the transformer. <P>SOLUTION: In the control system for the synchronous motor, the synchronous motor is connected via the transformer to the output side of the power transformer. Moreover, at start of the motor, the motor is supplied with power after an initial excitation of the transformer, and the exciting current of the transformer and the d-axis current value of the motor are synthesized to control the drive. In the conventional control of the synchronous motor, the main circuit current to the synchronous motor is controlled by comparing current feedback values Iq and Id with current command values, and by PWM-controlling the power converter. Accordingly, it follows that the rating of the synchronous motor is determined by the output rating of the power converter, so this system can solve the problem that it becomes a large current rating of enlarged motor if the synchronous motor increases its capacity, and the output voltage of the power converter goes high, and the boosted voltage is supplied to the synchronous motor, whereby the enlargement is prevented. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
