<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an operation support device by which when and how maintenance has been performed for a maintenance target computer can be recorded without using a computer network and the maintenance and the recorded contents can be checked later, when the target computer is abnormal. <P>SOLUTION: The maintenance target computer 300 is connected through a USB 206. Input signals from a mouse 101 and a keyboard 100 connected through respective USBs 204, 205 are transmitted to the maintenance target computer 300. Time of a timer 203 is added to each input signal and stored in an operation information storage device 202. A USB 212 for connecting an external computer is connected to the storage device 202 so as to read the input signal from the storage device 202.
