<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toroidal type continuously variable transmission capable of achieving an oil leakage restraining function equivalent to the conventional technique at the low cost. <P>SOLUTION: In this toroidal type continuously variable transmission, a power roller 10 is slidably provided along a main axis direction perpendicular to a tilting shaft L of a trunnion 14 through a back surface bearing 33 intervening between a power roller housing surface 14a of the trunnion 14 and a back surface 31a of an outer ring 31. An oil supply means between the trunnion 14 and the outer ring 31 of the power roller 10 is a tubular member 39 having a flange part 39a and a straight tube part 39b. A flange surface of the flange part 39a is abutted with a trunnion side oil passage aperture 36, and the straight tube part 39b is tightly and slidably inserted into an outer ring side oil passage 38. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
