<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a tea exhibiting remarkable pharmacological effect such as constipation relieving action and diuretic action. <P>SOLUTION: The tea exhibiting remarkable pharmacological effect such as constipation relieving action and diuretic action is produced by using kale which is a dark green vegetable as a raw material. The raw kale leaf is cut, roasted at a pot temperature of 210-240°C and a leaf temperature of 170-190°C for a roasting time of 20-40 min at an exhaustion blower rotation speed of 55-70 Hz to obtain the kale tea.
