摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize track positioning errors of a head generated by dynamic mechanical deformation of a HDD suspension and a head device. SOLUTION: A damper being an attenuation mechanism 141 is attached to an actuator 121. The attenuation mechanism 141 is a restriction layer attenuation mechanism provided with one or a plurality of substances for attenuating vibration generated during operation of a drive 111. The attenuation mechanism 141 is attached to the outer surface part of a coil region 143 of the attenuator 121. The coil region 143 means either of a voice coil 133, a coil supporting part 136 and/or the combination of these and the attenuation mechanism 141 is attached to straddle on a plurality of components of the coil region 143. The attenuation mechanism 141 is preferably attached by using an adhesive. The attenuation mechanism 141 has a metal thin layer or foil made of aluminum or the like and a layer of an elastic body, a viscoelastic body, or the other substance is made to adhere thereto.
