PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a desktop calculator with a function key for displaying a total by one operation in order to make the memory function of the desktop calculator clearly understandable and to make the desktop calculator further easily usable. SOLUTION: A body (1) has a display part (9), an input part (11) and a control part (10). The display part (9) has a liquid crystal indicator (2) for executing a display instruction from the control part (10). The input part (11) has an arithmetic input key (6), numeral input key (7) and function input key (8) for inputting data to the control part (10); a total plus key (3) for performing arithmetic calculation processing by inputting, adding the calculation result to a memory and displaying the content of the memory; a total minus key (4) for performing arithmetic calculation processing by inputting, subtracting the calculation result from the memory, and displaying the content of the memory; and a total clear key (5) for setting the content of the memory zero.
