PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To associate information at low costs even without a dictionary and form associated information as basic data for the creation of a dictionary. SOLUTION: An associated information retrieval and creation device has one or more contents (1), (2), etc., an associated information control means 2a for controlling associated information between the contents (1), (2), etc., a storing means 4a for storing the associated information, and ranking-retrieval means 3a for retrieving and ranking the associated information. The ranking-retrieval means 3a computes ranking values of a plurality of different items, and the associated information control means 2a computes total rankings from the computed ranking values.
