PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antitheft system which can effectively prevent an automatic transaction device from being stolen by the use of heavy equipment. SOLUTION: The antitheft system has a sensor which detects the destruction of a building or intrusion into the building, a camera which photographs an image in the building depending on detection by the sensor, a smoke-emission device which emits smoke at least inside the building, and an alarm device which transmits an alarm signal owing to the detection by the sensor and an image signal obtained by photographing with the camera to an external monitoring device, and receives a smoke-emission activation signal, so that when an intrusion into a store building or an destruction of the building arises, an image thereof is transmitted to the external monitoring device, the smoke-emission device is started by a seizing signal from the monitoring device, smoke can be emitted at least inside the building, and the automatic transaction device can be prevented from being stolen by the use of the heavy equipment.
