PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor which easily switches display such as simultaneous display, multimonitor and so on with a simple operation, and also provide a display device switching method. SOLUTION: When a CPU 11 receives a display-switching request, which is accompanied by an operation for pressing down a presentation button 115, from an embedded controller (EC) 19, it issues an instruction command for switching the display to a graphic controller 14 in accordance with the request under the control of an OS. When the embedded controller (EC) 19 receives the instruction command, it executes switching processing for a display device in accordance with functions (simultaneous display/multimonitor) allocated to the presentation button 115.
