摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving circuit for electrooptical device, the electrooptical device and its driving method such that, for example, the electrooptical device and driving circuit are formed on the same substrate, the number of terminals is decreased without deteriorating picture quality. SOLUTION: A display panel 10 has a plurality of pixels, a plurality of scanning lines, a plurality of signal lines through which 1st to 3rd data signals for respective color components are multiplexed and transmitted, and a plurality of demultiplexers containing switch elements for demultiplex which have one-end terminals connected to the respective signal lines and other-end terminals connected to respective (j)th (1≤j≤3, j is an integer) pixels for color components and are brought under switch control according to 1st to 3rd demultiplexing control signals. A gate signal generating circuit 20 generates shift clocks according to the 1st to 3rd demultiplexing control signals and outputs signals corresponding to shift outputs obtained by shifting a given start pulse signal with the shift clocks to the respective scanning lines.
