PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a lighting inspection device for a display panel improved in productivity by reducing working time to be required to change the kind of the display panel. SOLUTION: This lighting inspection device for the display panel 10, which is formed by arranging a plurality of electrode terminal blocks having a plurality of extraction electrodes, is provided with a panel loading lighting unit 11 formed by arranging a plurality of contacts 112 having a plurality of tapping electrodes to be electrically brought into contact with each of the extraction electrodes of the display panel 10. A plurality of kinds of the panel loading lighting unit 11 are prepared in response to the kind of the display panel 10 to be inspected. Working time to be required for the kind changing work and preparation work can be reduced by exchanging the panel loading lighting unit 11 itself when changing kind. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
