PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerating installation for coping with the leakage of a refrigerant all over a refrigerant circuit while dispensing with a special collecting container. SOLUTION: In the refrigerating installation, an exterior heat exchanger 33 and a compressor 31 are provided in an exterior unit 30 and the refrigerant circuit is formed by connecting an interior unit 10 having an interior heat exchanger 11 to the exterior unit 30. Before and behind the refrigerating circuit for the compressor 31, concentration detectors 44, 45 for detecting gas concentration are provided in block areas 50, 60 of the whole refrigerant circuit divided into the plurality of block areas 50, 60 each containing liquid sump equipment, where the presence or not of the leakage of the refrigerant is determined by a detecting device 41 in accordance with detection results from detectors 37-40 for detecting the leakage of the refrigerant in the whole refrigerant circuit. Solenoid valves 36, 43 are provided on a boundary between the block areas 50, 60. The solenoid valves 36, 43 controls the refrigerant in the whole refrigerant circuit to be collected into liquid sump devices 33, 42 in the block areas 50, 60 where there is no leakage of the refrigerant, after comparing the gas concentration detected by the concentration detectors 44, 45 and determining from which block area 50 or 60 the refrigerant leaks.
