PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speed increasing device capable of considerably reducing shaft runout by solving a problem that an output shaft is run out to rotate a tip tool at a high speed by increasing the output rotation of an electric motor in an electric trimmer or router used in fringing wood or the like. SOLUTION: A planetary gear mechanism is used for a speed increasing device 10, and an output shaft 17 is supported at both ends by two ball bearings 21 and 22. Inner rings 21a and 22a and outer rings 21b and 22b of the two ball bearings 21 and 22 are relatively rotated in the same direction, and the substantial number of rotation thereof is reduced to suppress the shaft runout of the output shaft 17, and to enhance the durability thereof.
