PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cylinder block enabling honing machining of a liner inner face after assembling it on a cylinder block main body. SOLUTION: (1) This cylinder block is constituted by filling and hardening ultraviolet ray hardening resin 4 into a bottom of a water jacket 3 having a wet liner structure and fixing a cylinder liner 2 to the cylinder block main body 1. (2) The cylinder block is constituted by filling and hardening the ultraviolet ray hardening resin 4 into the bottom of the water jacket 3 having the wet liner structure, fixing the cylinder liner 2 to the cylinder block main body 1, and covering the ultraviolet ray hardening resin 4 with gel agent 5 from a water jacket 3 side.
