PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening part device, reducing the space for fitting a drain valve to reduce the size of a lower frame and lower the cost. SOLUTION: This opening part device includes; a frame body 2 provided in an opening of a building and composed of an upper frame 2a, a lower frame 2b and left and right vertical frames 2c, 2d; and sliding doors 3a, 3b provided in the frame body 2 to be freely opened and closed. A drain port 10 communicating the interior with the exterior in closing the sliding door is formed in the lower frame 2b, and the drain port 10 is provided with a valve element 13 for closing the drain port 10 by an energizing means 12 in the substantially horizontal state in normal condition. When water (w) is accumulated on the lower frame 2b, the drain valve 11 is adapted to open the valve element 13 downward by water pressure of the water (w). COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
