PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mist collecting control device and a mist collecting control method capable of optimizing an operation state of the mist collecting device. SOLUTION: A mist collecting control system comprises a weather sensor placed so as to surround the neighborhood of a predetermined mist collecting device installation area 10 and the mist collecting control device 100. A plurality of mist collecting devices 11 are installed in a predetermined area in the mist collecting device installation area 10. For example, the weather sensor 1 is constituted of a water sensor or the like detecting whether or not there is a mist in accordance with conductivity of liquid droplet, and when the mist is detected, it is transferred to the mist collecting control device 100 as mist information. The mist collecting control device 100 controls an operation of each mist collecting device 11 in the mist collecting device installation area 10 based on the mist information obtained from the weather sensor 1.
