PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brace-less earthquake resistant reinforcement method for an RC construction capable of refreshing the external appearance of a building without hindering the spaciousness of a window or the like by eliminating the mounting of a brace even if a steel framed framework is reinforced from the outside and maintaining a state combining the existing RC construction with the steel framed framework as long as possible even if a large horizontal load repeatedly acts by an earthquake or the like. SOLUTION: An H-shaped steel frame 3 is mounted to an existing RC column 5 located on an exterior wall surface and an existing RC beam 8 extending in both right and left directions to support an exterior wall or the like. The brace is not provided to the framework formed thereby. For an H-shaped steel column 4 mounted to the existing RC column 5, the approximately same flexural rigidity as that of the existing RC column 5 is selected. Accordingly, when the horizontal load is given from the existing RC beam 8 or an H-shaped steel beam 6 by an earthquake or the like, the existing RC column 5 and the H-shaped steel column 4 are deformed in the same levels, and stress additionally occurring in a joint region of both of them is controlled as small as possible.
