PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent malfeasant unlocking utilizing an opening between a lock case and a key inserting hole for a door by limiting the movement of a decorative cover to the lock case. SOLUTION: In this cylinder lock with the lock case, a rotor rotatably inserted and installed in the case, a tumbler inserted and installed in a manner that the tumbler can be inserted and extracted in a tumbler inserting hole in the rotor and the decorative cover mounted on the outer peripheral side of the case, a case-side screwing section 203 is formed at the arbitrary place of the outer periphery of the case 2 while a cover-side screwing section 801 is formed at the arbitrary place of the inner periphery of the cover 8 and the case 2 and the cover 8 can be screwed, and an engaging section 3 is projected on the inner peripheral side of the case 2 in a retractable manner at the arbitrary place on the outer peripheral side of the case 2 while an engaging groove 802, with which the engaging section 3 can be engaged, is formed on the inner peripheral side of the cover 8 so that the rotation of the cover 8 relative to the case 2 can be permitted in one direction and prevented in the other direction.
