PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection and packing device capable of inspecting and packing for a twist yarn pirn wound at the same time with an extending and twisting machine immediately at a site. SOLUTION: This device, used for inspecting and packing the twist yarn pirn wound using the extending and twisting machine, comprises a hanger 7 for lifting up the twist yarn pirn from the extending and twisting machine; a turning support 3 for freely turning the hanger 7 in the circumferential direction; and a carriage 1 which is mounted with the turning support 3 and can move freely. With this constitution, the pirn is lifted up from the extending and twisting machine, thus performing the inspection and packing at the site continuously solo, especially even by a powerless worker.
