PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve nonconformity of a six-wheel type wheelchair having small-diameter auxiliary wheels in side front sides of frames and swinging arms, which have main wheels in its front and auxiliary wheels in its back, in the back side, wherein, when the main wheels are driven by an electric motor, the swinging arms rotate by the reaction force of the driving, the main wheels are floating from the floor surface by being supported to the auxiliary wheels and a driving force is lost. SOLUTION: This wheelchair is so formed that deflecting wheels are provided in the side front sides of the left/right frames, the auxiliary wheels supported to the swinging arms disposed in the front/back direction in the back side are provided near the back ends of the swinging arms, a drive unit provided with the electric motor is rotationally provided near the front end via an attachment shaft, an interval between the drive unit and the frame is connected by a connecting rod comprising a link mechanism, and the main wheels are attached to the main shaft of the drive unit.
