<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable diaper that can keep feces discharged from a user of the diaper clear from his crotch so as to prevent their attachment to his crotch. <P>SOLUTION: This disposable diaper 1A has a liquid absorbing core 4 placed between an expandable surface sheet 2 and an impermeable back surface sheet 3, and has openings 10 and 11, which penetrate the surface sheet 2 and the core 4 in the direction of diaper thickness, formed around the forebody area 5 and at the crotch area 6. The back surface sheet 3 is provided with a free part 3c that can extend downward in the direction of the thickness of the diaper 1A, and with fringes 3a and 3b fixed to the surface sheet 2. A plurality of longitudinally extendable elastic members 15 are shrinkably attached to the free part 3c and fixed fringes 3a and 3b, and many laterally extending wrinkles 16 are formed when the elastic members 15 shrink. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
