<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of surely holding a module cover on a retainer even in expanding time of an airbag in the air bag device wherein only the module cover floats to turn on a horn switch. <P>SOLUTION: A cut-out part 43 is provided on a leg piece part 42 of the module cover 40. A reinforcing plate 60 is fixed to the leg piece part 42 by a rivet 65. In the reinforcing plate 60, an extended piece 63 is integrally provided.
