<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing Tofu (bean curd) readily carrying out maintenance and contributing to expansion of demands of the Tofu. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for producing the Tofu is equipped with a container 1 for placing soybean milk 7 and bittern therein and a head 3 attached to a pair of electrodes 4. The soybean milk 7 generates heat between the electrodes 4 and is coagulated to thereby provide the Tofu 18. Since the container 1 can simply be washed with water, maintenance is easily carried out. Since the container 1 can be made of wood or paper and used as tableware, the Tofu 18 can directly be eaten.
