<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical sheet which is used for the back light unit of a liquid crystal display device, has a high-precision gradation pattern as a bright line prevention part, and is easy to design. <P>SOLUTION: A back light unit 11 is equipped with a light guide plate 12 and light sources 13 which are arranged on the opposite side of the emission surface 12a of the light guide plate 12. Each light source 13 is stored in a storage recessed part 14 formed on the surface on the opposite side from the emission surface 12a. On the side of the projection surface 12a of the light guide plate 12, light diffusing sheets 17a and 17b and a lens sheet 18 which are optical sheets are arranged. On the light diffusing sheet 17a, a luminance distribution reversal image 19 is printed. On the luminance distribution reversal image 19, a gradation pattern is printed which is designed on the basis of the luminance distribution reversal image formed by inverting the gradations of data generated by measuring at least a luminance distribution on the light emission surface of the back light unit 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
