<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a optimized operating method or the like for petroleum manufacturing which can calculate more appropriate optimalized operating conditions. <P>SOLUTION: This optimized operating method for petroleum manufacturing comprises: a first step for calculating operation conditions for maximizing profits in a petroleum manufacturing plant for distilling a petroleum half-manufactured product on the basis of the initial price of the petroleum half-manufactured product; a second step for detecting the property actual value of the petroleum half-manufactured product distilled under the operation conditions calculated in the first step; and a third step for newly calculating the price of the petroleum half-manufacture product on the basis of the property actual value detected in the second step.
