<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner for preventing dew formation on the upper face of an air outlet during cooling operation. <P>SOLUTION: The air-conditioner comprises at least, a compressor, an outdoor heat exchanger, an expansion valve, and an indoor heat exchanger 4, which are connected together in sequence via a cooling medium pipe to form a refrigerating cycle. The indoor heat exchanger 4 and a blowing fan 8 are provided in an air passage connecting an air inlet 6 provided in an indoor unit body to the air outlet 7. A dew receiver 12 slightly apart upward from the upper face of the air outlet 7 is provided at the lower part of the indoor heat exchanger 4. A portion 5a of the cooling medium pipe extending from the outdoor heat exchanger to the expansion valve is arranged along the upper face 9 of the air outlet 7 opposed to the dew receiver 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
