<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate the validity of whether an applicant is a normal applicant or not in execution of a prize competition while reducing the burden on an agent who executes the prize competition through a network without costing the change of commodities. <P>SOLUTION: An information transmit terminal is connected to a site operation server through the network. The network and a POS (point of sales) terminal outputting a unique code to a receipt are mutually independent. The site operation server converts, on receipt of the unique code from the terminal, the unique code to a code group of numerical data. The site operation server retrieves converted code groups in a retrieved code group database under a prescribed condition. When the corresponding code group is retrieved as a result, the transmitted unique code is determined to be a normal unique code, and when it is not retrieved, the transmitted unique code is judged not to be the normal unique code. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
