<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a rate control quality measurement whereby a measurement value with high accuracy is obtained even when communication quality rapidly fluctuates. <P>SOLUTION: When receiving communication quality of a test packet transmitted from one quality measurement apparatus 1 to the other quality measurement apparatus 2 and a count of packets delivered through a link 9 counted by a packet acquisition/counting unit 3, a packet communication quality calculation apparatus 5 obtains a continuous function of time denoting communication quality from a time sequence of the communication quality with respect to the test packet, calculates a rate of the communication quality within a prescribed period to satisfy a prescribed reference value on the basis of the continuous function, calculates a test object packet flow within the prescribed period as a function of time on the basis of the packet count within the prescribed period, and obtains a distribution function of the communication quality on the basis of the rate satisfying the prescribed reference value and the count object packet flow. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
