PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air-conditioner using a room temperature thermistor to accurately detect the temperature of indoor air short-circuited from a blow port to a suction port by stopping the heat exchanging operation of a heat exchanger when room temperature gets to a preset value or higher in heating operation. SOLUTION: When the room temperature gets to the preset value or higher in heating operation, the operation of a compressor is stopped, the drive of a blowing fan 10 is continued and a vertical wind direction plate 12 is turned upward to control part of air blown from the blow port 2 to be short-circuited to the suction port 1.
