METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GASKET FOR HARD DISC DRIVE AND GASKET FOR HARD DISC DRIVE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a gasket for a hard disc drive by which the gasket with a narrow line width and a large height can be formed on a cover, and a small gasket for the hard disc drive manufactured by this method. SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing the gasket for the hard disc drive comprises an injection step to inject a gasket material having activation energy radiation-curing characteristics into a molding die 10; a curing step to cure the injected gasket material by irradiating it with the activation energy radiation; and an integrating step to transfer the obtained gasket 1 to the cover 3 from the molding die 10 as the gasket for the hard disc drive. The gasket for the hard disc drive is applicable to a hard disc drive for the hard discs of the size less than 3.5 inches. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
