PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of an identification part for identifying or determining many types of ink cartridges. SOLUTION: A recess is formed in the ink cartridge 1; three-dimensional space axes including one side surface with an ink supply port 14 of the ink cartridge are split into a plurality of parts, respectively, so as to serve as coordinate points; and protrusions 31-1 to 31-3 for identification, which selectively serve as identification piece, are arranged in the coordinate points in accordance with items of the identification.
