PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage device capable of surely realizing optimal refreshing even when it is mounted on a system or an electronic device whose operation frequency is variable. SOLUTION: In the information storage device having a plurality of memory cells for storing data by accumulating charges, the processing of recharging the memory cells with charges is surely controlled by using a dedicated recharging clock as a synchronous signal. By surely executing such processing, optimal refreshing processing is surely carried out even with a system or an electronic device in which an operation frequency is variable. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
