摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably and efficiently predict a collision between movable bodies of which the moving routes are not predetermined. SOLUTION: A control device 52 of a collision-of-movable-body prediction device 10 acquires, from a GPS (global positioning system) receiving set 16, a moving distance sensor 20 and an azimuth sensor 28, respectively, movable body information including the position, velocity and moving direction of the movable body, and exchanges the information with movable body information on another movable body with a radio communication device. Further, the device 52 makes approximations of a road shape on map data acquired from a reproducing device 38 by a line segment or a quadratic curve, by using the movable body information on the own and another movable bodies, determines, depending on whether or not time instants when the own and another movable bodies reach a specific area including an intersection match substantially, whether or not the collision is forecasted.
