PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silver halide color photographic sensitive material having high sensitivity and little residual color and hardly affected by a variation in processing parameters in rapid processing. SOLUTION: The silver halide color photographic sensitive material has one or more blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layers, wherein silver halide grains in the emulsion layers consist of cubic or tetradecahedral grains having a silver chloride content of≥90%, containing 0.05-1.00 mol% silver iodide, having a silver iodide-containing phase formed in a position corresponding to 85% to 100% of grain volume measured from an inside of each grain, and having ä100} faces of≤0.6μm as a side length of a cube, and spectral sensitization is carried out with at least one dye of formula (I), wherein Y is a thiophene ring, a furan ring or a pyrrole ring; V is a substituent; n is a number of 0-4; R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>are each substituted or unsubstituted alkyl, aryl or a heterocyclic group; M is a counter ion; and m is a number of≥0 required to neutralize electric charges in each molecule.
