PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for residence capable of providing excellent air conditioning effects even if cold and hot water are supplied to a heat transfer part matching gas refrigerant. SOLUTION: This air conditioner comprises an air side heat exchanger 3 having a condensing function for condensing the refrigerant of an electric power drive type heat pump 1 in cooling operation and having an evaporation function for evaporating the refrigerant of the heat pump in heating operation and a heat transfer part 24 for leading, therein, the cold and hot water of a water side heat exchanger 5 through pipes 8, 22 and 23. The piping part 23 directly connected to the heat transfer part 24 is branched to a plurality of systems in the pipes 8, 22 and 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
