PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door lock hardly illegally unlocked by protecting the connecting section of a sickle piece for the sliding door lock used for a sliding door. SOLUTION: The sliding door lock 1 goes in and out in accordance with the movement of the sickle piece 6, it has a sickle piece protection member 15 for protecting the connecting section 18 of the sickle piece 6 located between a sickle piece projecting opening 27 and a receiving hole 102 in a locking state, and the sickle piece protection member 15 is provided so as to cover the connecting section 18 in a locking state.
