PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable roof which is surely retained by a widow shield frame by a position fixing system by improving a conventional type detachable roof for an automobile. SOLUTION: The position fixing system 11 of this roof 9 includes a first position fixing device 15 and a second position fixing device 16. Both of the position fixing devices 15, 16 are arranged with a deviation each other by an interval dimension AM in a vehicle height direction F-F and are engaged by movement of the roof 9 in a traveling direction D.
