NARROW GUIDING DEVICE OF COMBINE HARVESTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a narrow guiding device of a combine harvester free from the problems of conventional narrow guide supported from the vehicle body side with a hollow pipe comprising the restriction of the downward tilting motion to fail in the adjustment to a low position and the guiding of the base of the culm because of the presence of the vehicle frame assembled under the hollow pipe. SOLUTION: The narrow guide 3 is automatically housed by a tensile force of a tension spring 6 in the case of housing the guide from the working position extended sideways from a vehicle frame 2 to the non-working position. The hollow pipe 5 supporting the narrow guide 3 is tiltable downward around the supporting point P at the side of the frame 2. The vehicle frame 2 has a notched guide space 10 at the outer left side of the front part to enable the tilting under the hollow pipe 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
