PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing lead bristles in which buckling of the tip of lead bristle bundle is prevented and handling of the lead bristle can be facilitated by providing a chute for preventing buckling of lead bristle. SOLUTION: A lead bristle bundle 1 injected from a nozzle outlet 21 of a pressurizing extruder 2 is brought into contact with a chute 4, slid on the upper surface of the chute 4, transferred onto a roller conveyer 3, fed to the following step without causing buckling and wound through intermediate rollers 61-63 and a guide roller 7 around a winding drum 8. In the apparatus for producing the lead bristles, buckling of the tip of the lead bristle bundle 1 is suppressed and handling of the lead bristles can be facilitated by each providing optimal downward angle and upward angle in the pressurizing extruder 2 and the roller conveyer 3.
