PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a skin cosmetic excellent in instant effectiveness and lasting properties, also having a preventing effect, and in addition excellent in skin barrier repairing function useful even for a subject of atopic dermatitis. SOLUTION: This skin cosmetic contains, as an intercellular lipid component, at least 1 kind selected from a group consisting of a sphingolipid, higher alcohol or polyhydric alcohol or their esters, sterol or its ester and hydrocarbon; as a humectant, at least 1 kind selected from a group consisting of an amino acid or its salt, pyrrolidone carboxylic acid or its salt, an organic acid or its salt, urea and sugars; and a phospholipid.
