The manure spreader for distributing manure from a feed container has a drive shaft (9) for rotary movement imparted to sprayer discs in a housing (7). There is an adjustable metering feed for each of the spreader discs and at least one sensor to receive the rotary motion of the drive for each disc. The housing has limited rotation around the drive shaft with respect to the frame (2) and the sensor can detect this movement.
