PURPOSE: A tactile pin holding device for holding an interval between a tactile pin and a tactile surface, a tactile pin display device, and a braille display member are provided to shift and hold easily the tactile pin by using a simple mechanism, and to reduce size and manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: The tactile pin holding device includes a holding member and a plurality of elastic members. The holding member has a tactile surface and a first number of holes. The holding member is used for supporting the first number of tactile pins(301) in the holes to be movable up-and-down the tactile surface for displaying characters and/or graphics. The tactile pins are arranged in multi-row multi-column and in a second number of groups at the tactile surface. The second number is smaller than the first number. The elastic members correspond to the second number of groups of tactile pins and are arranged at the holding member. The tactile pins are pressed by the elastic members and the holding member.
