WATER IN OIL EMULSIFIED COSMETIC COMPOSITION CONTAINING POLYMERIC DERIVATIVE FOR EMULSION STABILIZATION

PURPOSE: A water in oil emulsified cosmetic composition containing polymeric derivative for emulsion stabilization is provided which exhibits excellent ultraviolet rays-screening effect and has good storage stability and skin feeling. CONSTITUTION: The water-in-oil emulsified cosmetic composition is characterized in that it contains 0.01 to 10% by weight of a polymeric derivative for emulsion stabilization which contains one or more units of a monomer represented by the formula(1) in a molecule. In the formula, X is a compound of the formula(2 or 3) in which R is C1-12 alkyl substituted or unsubstituted with C1-12 alkyl, C3-12 cycloalkyl, C1-12 alkyl containing aryl or oxygen(oxygen is made up of an ether bond). The polymeric derivative for emulsion stabilization has an average molecular weight of 1,000 to 1,000,000 and contains 5 to 100% by weight of the monomer by the formula(1) in a molecule.
