<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an agent for ameliorating hyperlipemia, exhibiting significant reduction in neutral fat and cholesterol. <P>SOLUTION: The solid culture of steamed or boiled beans or cereals having ≥40 wt.% water content is started by using fungi belonging to the genus Rhizopus or genus Neurospora to reduce the water content to ≤5 wt.% under culture, and extracting the obtained culture product with water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
